The Design Process
STEP 1
We start with a conversation. I want to understand your business, your goals, and what you actually need before anything is built. You'll fill out a detailed intake questionnaire, then we'll jump on a call to align on direction and make sure we're the right fit for each other.
Discovery
STEP 2
Before I build anything, everything needs to be ready. If you don't have a brand yet, we start with Brand Foundations. If you need copy support, I offer guided copywriting to get your words in order. Either way, you'll get a clear checklist of exactly what to gather and submit before we begin.
Preparation
STEP 3
With all materials ready, I design and build with your goals in mind at every decision — not just what looks good, but what makes sense for your business and the clients you're trying to reach. We check in at structured points so you're never left wondering where things stand.

STEP 4
When you're happy with everything, we connect your domain and go live. You'll receive a personalized video walkthrough of your completed site so you can update, manage, and grow it confidently on your own. Not into doing updates yourself? I also offer monthly maintenance plans.

You don't always need to build from scratch. I take a Squarespace template and rebuild it around your brand; your colors, fonts, content, and layout; until it looks like it was made for you. Because it was. It's the right starting point for service businesses that need to show up professionally online without the investment of a fully custom build.

A note on templates: Squarespace's template library is free and included in your project at no additional cost. If a third party template is a better fit for your project the cost — typically $150 to $400 — will be passed through to you at cost with no markup. We'll discuss this during your kickoff call before anything is purchased.
One-Day Intensive
Not every website problem needs weeks to solve. Sometimes you just need one focused day with someone who knows what they're doing. I set aside an entire day just for you and your project. One-Day Intensives offer concentrated effort and deliver something real to show for it by end of day.

A discovery call is a relaxed, no-pressure conversation — usually 20 to 30 minutes — where we talk about your business, your goals, and what you're looking for in a website. It's a chance for both of us to make sure we're a good fit before anything is booked or signed. You'll leave with clarity on which package makes sense and what the next steps look like.

All of my work is built on Squarespace. It's an ideal platform for small to medium-sized businesses. It's visually polished, easy to manage without any technical knowledge, and reliable. Once your site is handed off, you'll be able to update content, add images, and manage your site confidently without needing to hire a developer every time something needs to change.

Yes. Squarespace is one of the most user-friendly platforms available, and every project includes a live walkthrough so you understand exactly how to manage your site after launch. You won't be left wondering what to do.

No problem. That's what the Brand Styling add-on is for. Before we start your website, we'll nail down your wordmark logo, typography, and color palette so everything is ready to go. It's available as an add-on to any package and can be completed ahead of your project start date.

Absolutely. The Ongoing Support retainer is available to all clients and covers things like content updates, design tweaks, troubleshooting, and general maintenance. Starting at $100/month with limited availability.

Written copy for your site is your responsibility to provide before we begin. If you need help, the Guided Copywriting add-on uses a detailed questionnaire and AI assistance to develop page copy that sounds like you. It's available to add onto any package.

The best thing you can do before we start is get your content ready — your logo files, brand colors and fonts, photos, and written copy. You'll also complete an intake questionnaire that helps me understand your goals, audience, and vision before we touch anything. The more prepared you are, the smoother and faster the process goes.

Each package includes a set number of revision rounds — 2 for the Template Rebrand, 3 for Custom Web Design, and 2 structured rounds built into the VIP Day itself. A revision round is your opportunity to consolidate feedback and request changes all at once. Additional rounds are available at a flat fee if needed.

Honestly, no, and anyone who promises that should raise a red flag. Search engine rankings depend on dozens of factors outside of web design; your industry, your location, how competitive your market is, how long your site has been live, and how consistently you're creating content over time.
What I can do is make sure your site is set up correctly from day one. That means clean page titles, meta descriptions, image alt text, and a site structure that search engines can read and understand. It won't get you to the first page overnight, but it gives you a solid foundation to build from.
If search is a priority for your business I'd recommend pairing your new site with an ongoing SEO or content strategy. That's where the real long term gains happen.

Once your site is live, you'll be responsible for your own Squarespace subscription, your domain renewal, and any third-party tools you use such as scheduling software, email marketing platforms, website legal policies, or font licenses.
